How can I support this project? Can I help?
Any type of support is appreciated! Whether it's sharing/liking on facebook or subscribing/watching our youtube content, any little bit helps! You can also join the team if you are interested in spriting, have any moves/game ideas, provide any artwork, etc.

Can this be played online?
At the moment, the beta version doesn't support online.  It might be a possibility in future updates though!

How many characters will there be in the final version? Any extra features, secrets, etc?
There will approximately be 18 characters in total.  Extra features may be added along the way such as Challenge mode and there may be a secret character (or two)...

What is RK Soul and Sword?
A fan-made fighting game with your favorite Rurouni Kenshin characters. Gameplay is inspired by popular franchises from SNK and Capcom. This game is made by the effort of fellow fans and through the use of the MUGEN engine.

What is MUGEN?
M.U.G.E.N is a 2D fighting game engine that enables you to create commercial-quality fighting games. Almost everything can be customized, from individual characters to stages, as well as the look and feel of the game. For more info check out http://elecbyte.com/mugen.

How do I perform this or that move?

Can I play this on consoles? On mac?
Unfortunately this version only works for PC.  I've heard this can work on an Xbox but I am not sure how to go about it.

When will you finish this project?
We do not have an official timeline as of now. Right now we are in the beta phase (45%) which was released in August. Obviously the more people that joins us, the faster we can complete this project!

Where can I find the sprites/backgrounds/music, and can I freely use them for my own projects?
Although all sprites and backgrounds are open-sourced, they are coded into the game and you will need certain software to rip it. If you manage to rip it and use it for your projects, please give credit to the creators. Music, on the other hand, is a licensed product and we do not have any rights to them.

Is this an official/licensed game?
This is not a licensed game. Rurouni Kenshin, Samurai X, るろうに剣心 is a property of Nobuhiro Watsuki, Shonen Jump, and other affiliates associated with the manga, anime, and its games. All contents shown are free and fan-made for entertainment purposes.
